(I used 1mask4) Open your tube – not a misted tube. Use the eye dropper tool to pick a dark color and a medium color from your tube. Set the dark color to the foreground color in the materials palette and the medium color to the background color. New Raster Layer. Flood fill with dark color. Go to layers – new mask layer and find your mask in the drop down. For my mask I had to invert the mask data so the color was on the middle ![]() Layer – Merge – Merge Group Go to the effects browser and the textures. You can use what you like best here for my example I used blinds – sunrise factory settings. Click apply. ![]() Add a drop shadow using these settings: vertical = 2 horizontal = 2 opacity = 50 blur = 11 color black ![]() New raster layer and flood fill with the medium color . New mask layer – same settings as before. Layers – Merge – Merge group. Resize this layer by 90% - smart size - make sure to uncheck resize all layers and then sharpen ![]() Go to adjust – add noise – gaussian - 8% - monochrome. ![]() Effects – plugins – Xero filters – Frillitary plugin with these settings : Granularity = 12 Aggression = 12 Tesselation = 27 Variaton = 24 – click OK ![]() ![]() Add the same drop shadow to this layer as in step 10. Merge the two mask layers at this time. – activate the top layer and merge down. Copy your tube and close the original. Copy and paste this as a new image on your tag. You may need to resize this – remember to sharpen. You want the tube to fit nicely in the far left side of the image. Add the same drop shadow as described earlier. Duplicate this layer twice. Close out the top two of these duplicates. Highlight the bottom tube layer in your palette and resize (and sharpen) this to about 45% and move it to the right side of your image but still within the mask.. Go to the middle tube layer and resize (and sharpen) this layer to 65% or so…. This is going to depend somewhat on the tube you are using. You will want to position this still on the right side of the mask but not covering your smallest image. Go to the top tube layer and make sure it is still positioned on the left side of the image, just coming out of the mask and not covering the middle tube layer. Now click on your mask layer and Add your text – you will want to rotate this and position it on the mask so that it looks kind of like its coming out of the biggest tube image. Add the same drop shadow as described earlier. Add a new raster layer and add your watermark. Flood fill your bottom image layer (below the masks) with white. Go to image resize – 65% - bicubic – resize all layers checked. ![]() Close out the 3 tube layers click on the bottom layer (white) in the palette and merge visible. Open the bottom tube layer. Make sure your bottom layer is highlighted in the palette and merge visible Copy and paste in Animation Shop as new animation. Go back to PSP and edit – undo merge layers. Close the eye on the bottom tube and open the eye on the middle tube. Make sure the bottom layer is still highlighted and merge visible copy and past this into AS Be sure to paste after current frame. Go back to PSP and edit – undo merge layers. Close the eye on the middle tube and open the eye on the top tube. Make sure the bottom layer is still highlighted and merge visible copy and past this into AS – paste after current frame. Now in Animation shop select the first frame – go to Animation – frame properties and set the speed to 60 Select the middle layer and set the speed to 80 Select the last layer and set the speed to 150 – Note you can play around with the frame speeds, but for the effect here they should get progressively longer. Optimize the animation and save the file. ![]() Hope you have enjoyed this tutorial Hugs, Kelly Lesson written for Le Cafe D'Amis Group by Kelly |
