GLASS PICTURE TUTORIAL ![]() This Tutorial was made in PSP X. I am sure it can be done in other PSP's with a few small adjustments here and there. First You Will Need Two Tubes One for Focal and One Element that matches The Focal Tube. My tube is from DW. I also used PlugIns For This Tut. which are Eye Candy 5 Impact-Glass & MuRa's Meister-Cloud. 1.)First Shift-D to Duplicate your Tube and Close the Original. Now Choose what looks better with your Tube Gold Or Silver you can use a Pattern or a Gradient (whatever settings you prefer) for Background Color. And also select a light color from your tube as Foreground Color (please write this color number down for later use). 2.)Open New Image 500x500. 3.)Next Using Selection Tool Picking Shape that fits the shape of your Tube. I chose Rounded Rectangle. Settings Mode-Replace, Feather-0, Anti-Alias Checked. Don't make it to large. You want Your Tube to Fit Nicely in it and leave room to work outside of the Selection Later. 4.) You Need to Crop Your Duplicated Tube (Focal) As close as you can with out Cutting off the tube. Then Edit-Copy and click on the New Image and Edit-Paste into Selection. Yours Should Resemble something like this depending on the Shape you chose. Do Not Un-Select. ![]() 5.)Go to Effects-PlugIns Alien Skin EyeCandy-5-Impact-glass. Click on Basic Tab Use These Settings: Bevel Width:23.42 Bevel Smoothness:21.58 Round Selection Corners:0 Inside Selection Checked Glass Tint: Your Light Color You Selected From Tube In the Beginning Opacity:40 Tinting:42 Refraction:73 Inner Shadow opacity:75 Drop Shadow Opacity:81 Shadow Offset:50 Shadow Glow:77 ![]() 6.)Selections-Select None. Select Flood-Fill and Fill this layer with your Light color you picked from your Tube Earlier. 8.)Making Sure you are on the bottom flood filled layer first. Go to Effects-PlugIns-MuRa's Meister-Cloud. Where you see three color slots put your light color from tube in the middle by double clicking on middle color slot. The Top and Bottom Color White. Settings:Blend Mode Effects:100 Amount:100 Grain:3 Contrast,Bias, Light, Cubic, Blur, Contour all 0. ![]() 9.)Layers New Raster Layer Move to Top Layer.
