Four Seasons





supplies needed:
4 tubes of your choice to represent the four seasons
van der lee - snowflakes plugin

open a new transparent image 600 x 600
flood fill with a light color of your choice
effects/texture effects/texture with the following settings





select the pen tool with these settings and black for the foreground color





position the pen tool at x-300 y-0





draw a straight line down the entire image
now position the pen tool at x 0 y 300 and draw a straight line across the entire image

you should have this





layers/merge/merge all flat
now take your season tubes which should be no larger then 280x280
copy and paste as new layer 1 in each square making sure winter and spring ar in opposite corners.

add drop shadow to each tube as follows





resize all layers to 350x350





adjust/sharpness/sharpen

image/add borders

1px in a dark color
1px in your light color
1px in a dark color
8px in your light color

select the 8px border with magic wand

adjust/add/remove noise/add noise with following settings





effects/3d effects/inner bevel with the following settings





selections/select none

repeat border steps from above but change 8px to 20 px

select 20px border with wand
adjust/add/remove noise/add noise same settings as above

effects/plugin/simple/diamond
effects/3d effects/inner bevel same settings as above

selections/select none

add new raster layer name it text
add text and use deform tool to position
add new raster layer name it watermark
add watermark
now you should have 3 layers
close off text and watermark layers and highlight layer 1

add layer name it rain 1
you should now have this





select your selection tool with the following settings





with your rain 1 layer highlighted draw a square around the
spring square with your selection tool

effects/plugin/van der lee/snowflakes
apply the following settings





adjust/blur/motion blur with the following settings





add new raster layer name it rain 2
highlight rain 2 and follow the steps above but adjust the seed to 2000
apply motion blur as well same settings

add new raster layer name it rain 3
follow the steps above but adjust to seed 4000 apply motion blur same settings

add new raster layer name it snow 1
using the selection tool draw a square around the winter square

with snow 1 highlighted
effect/plugin/van der lee/snowflakes with following settings




add new raster layer name it snow 2
effects/plugin/van der lee/snowflakes apply same settings as above but adjust seed to 2000

add new raster layer name it snow 3
effects/plugin/van der lee/snowflakes apply same settings but adjust seed to 4000

selections/select none

now we move to AS

open your text ,watermark and layer 1
leave rain 1 and snow 1 open and close off all others
you should have this





copy merged
paste as new animation in AS

repeat closing rain 1 and snow 1
open rain 2 and snow 2
copy merged
paste after current frame in AS

close rain 2 and snow 2
open rain 3 and snow 3
copy merged
paste after current frame in AS

you can adjust your frame speed by going to edit/select all
then animation/frame properties and putting in the number you want
i chose 10

now resize to your needs and optimize and save
